Biography

Raised in Houston, Texas and Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Mary Martin graduated from Emory University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. At Emory, she was a member of DVS, the Senior Society. She received her law degree from the University of Texas at Austin in May 1988.

Mary is active in the Houston Community serving on various boards. She served as an elected State Bar Director. She serves on several Houston Bar Association committees. She has represented veterans in pro bono matters across the state. Mary and her husband Rex have three grown daughters and grandchildren.
